G'Day it's JAY

(Hope you all life my New look Web Site)

G'day all my wonderful friends from all over the world, I am sorry it has been so long since you have heard from me, but please I hope I have not made you worry too much. I am ok, it has just been a very long, hard past few months and was difficult to get to the computer to do journals. But as you can see I have a NEW LOOK WEBSITE - pretty cool hey. My new look site is not complete yet but believe me it has taken nearly a year to do what has been done. As you can see there is wording down the right side of the page and also wording on the top of the home page - you can click any of the words - for example click NEWS at the top or click GUESTBOOK at the top or click PHOTO GALLERY at the side or click LINKS at the top anywhere you click it will take you to a NEW page. I wanted to explain the PHOTO GALLERY, it is not yet complete but there are 2 albums so far in the gallery what you do is click either of the albums (just click the photo) and then you will see all the photo's in the album will appear along the top of the page - you can click them one by one - you can also click at the side of the album photo (there is a little arrow on the right side) and you can scan through the photo's that way or you can go to the right top corner of the page and press SLIDE SHOW and see them all as a slide show then you press at the top right corner the close album button. It is really very easy and you will all get use to it. I have hundreds more photos to put in the album but it has taken a while just to do those 2 albums, but there will be more coming.

Since I saw you all last, it was before Christmas, well darsly and I had a very quiet Christmas, didn't do that much, it has been extremely HOT here in Melbourne, temperatures over 40 degrees which is really hot. I had 8 weeks off school over Christmas for our summer break and it January I got to go to SYDNEY on a Qantas flight with CANTEEN, it was the National Camp for kids around Australia and they picked 5 kids from each state and I was lucky enough to be chosen and spent a wonderful fun week in Sydney. I am now back at School, the school year started here on 31st January 2008 and I am in Year 8 and glad to be back at school learning lots. I have grown alot, I now stand way over my mum, everyone I meet think I am about 17-18 years old, and now poor darlsy mum feels really short up against me. I have still been suffering my headaches and nose bleeds, which are very annoying, but I put up with them. in the above photo you are probably wondering where I am and what I am doing, well I am at my darsly mums work (she is a PERSONAL TRAINER) and is back at work at MONASH UNIVERSITY in the Elite sports department and this was an open day we had last week as all the University Students start back at Uni next week and they had a chance to have free time in the Gym, do what ever classes they wanted to do and I was helping out and got to wear the uniform.

FUNNY photo - this is my darsly mum being silly with Matt who is the Group Fitness Coordinator

I was feeling fit today - these are the bikes my darsly mum does cycle classes on , so Matt and I decided to join in and have a cycle.

My darsly mum being silly again - she is so cool and a wonderful instructor - every one loves her and she takes the best classes.

This is me JAY - my darsly mum and Matt - very exhausted after a very long day at the gym.

This is Kamil and me Jay and Matt, half way through blowing up 300 balloons. You might see my eye looks a bit funny, well I got something in it and it started to swell up, I had to put saline solution in my eye to try get it out but it kept on swelling up. OH well, I kept on blowing up balloons even though it was hurting me.

Not sure how many balloons I had blown up yet, but I am covered in them and still got heaps to go.

Back to School, yep a New Year and in Year 8, after 8 weeks of holidays it was hard to get out of bed and go off to school. It was a hot day first day so it made it even harder.

My wonderful little dog SNOWFLAKE she is so beautiful and has little bows in her hair and she has a red bandana on which was given to her from a friend in America and it says on it CO-PILOT. She is my co-pilot when I am on the flight simulator on the computer.

I had just come home from school - it is 38 degrees out side and I decided to go hit the tennis ball in the back yard and did not know that darsly mum took these photos.

Tennis is something I enjoy doing, not much fun in the back yard, a ball on a elastic (funny), not as good as being on a Tennis court.

Great forehand, well I try, I might not have the best style but I try.

Snowflake always sits on my lap while I am at the computer, she loves it up there.

WHAT a cool looking Snowflake - darlsy mum put my sunglasses on her, she is so cute.

I only did a short journal for now, I have a few great things coming up and one of them again as you can see by the banner at he top of this page TOUR DE CURE. I was the Ambassador for Tour De Cure last year and remember I got to go to Gold Coast (yes that was a year ago), well the Tour it starts in Melbourne this year and they guys are riding their bikes from MELBOURNE to SYDNEY and I will be the official starter again and will travel with them on the first leg. Tour de cure is a bunch of guys and girls giving up their work to ride their bikes collecting and raising money to find a cure for cancer, it is a wonderful thing they do and last year they raised over $400,000 dollars, Camp Quality is one of the charities and I represent Camp Quality. I will tell you more in the next few weeks but please be sure to visit http://www.tourdecure.com.au/ and maybe donate to one of the charities.

I have been thinking of all of my little sick friends whilst I have been away, I never forget any of you and I want you to know that just because I have not been around for a while doesn't mean I have forgotten you. I have been doing lots to raise money for Neuroblastoma Research and to find a cure and I will continue my fight to make everyone aware of Neuroblastoma.

Thank you to everyone out there who supports me, it means alot to me to have your support as there are times that are tough, there are times that are rough and with your support it makes things a little easier knowing people care. I will leave it at that for now, darsly and I have been doing alot of walking and alot of public transport stuff because our car is broken and can't be fixed (well is too costly to get fixed) so this is why I have not been many places either because we have to transport, but walking is good, it keeps me fit and hopefully soon we may be able to get the car fixed. I will be back again sometime end of next week to do another journal, in the mean time enjoy my NEW LOOK SITE and don't forget to leave me a message in my GUEST BOOK so I know you have stopped by to see me.

REMEMBER LIFE IS TOO SHORT - SO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULL & NEVER GIVE UP
